In the previous paragraph, we presented the history of the residence and its builders.
Now allow us to introduce ourselves. Both from Provençal families, from Apt to Manosque in the Luberon, it was in Courseulles-sur-Mer in Calvados (Juno Beach) that we spent 33 years of our lives, both as a family, raising our seven children, and professionally, working as building surveyors.
Once the children had flown the nest, we decided to return to the Mediterranean, closer to the Abbaye Sainte-Marie de Lagrasse, which we are very fond of. Even further south than Provence, we found the same scents, the same vegetation and the same enchanting landscapes, but with the added authenticity and wilder charm of the Corbières region.
We easily fell under the spell of this beautiful residence, and it was with enthusiasm that we resumed the business of welcoming holidaymakers and pilgrims, preserving the essence of the beautiful restoration work carried out by our predecessors Guy and Claire, while adding our own personal touch in terms of layout and decoration.
